Intel's first 64-Bit Extended CPU has been released.
It looks a lot like their Prescott Socket 775s.
The GHz are as follows:
2.8GHz, 3.0GHz, 3.2GHz, 3.4GHz, 3.6GHz

This should give you an idea of performance.
If an Opteron 248 can beat a Xeon 3.4GHz, imagine an Opteron 250 vs a Xeon 3.6GHz.
Again, AMD has the top CPU.
