Can't improve from 16 colours and 640 by 480

Hi, I recently installed windows 98se, however after my screen doesn't improve from 16 colours and the screen area is 640 by480. i have been to display properties and settings but it won't allow me to improve these settings.

Any help you give me is greatly appreciated.

Its because you do not have video card drivers installed and it is using the Standard VGA, blah blah. Find out what the video card is and we can find drivers for you.

I think my video driver is NVIDIA RIVA TNT.

visit http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

then just search for the driver appropriate for your card.

After it is downloaded, just double click the .exe file. Or instead of saving just choose the "open" option instead. Which will automaticallylaunch it after download.

I've got the same card, with 98se, you almost always have to install the drivers for the video.
