Hi,
I wonder if anybody could give me some advice to my problem;
I've started up the computer and went to turn the monitor on, the monitor LED went to green then flicked back to yellow and displayed the message 'No Signal'.
Suspecting a dodgy monitor, I connected my newer and better monitor to the computer but I still received the same message 'No Signal'.
Also, the actual computer is making all the usual noises when I turn it on.
If anybody could tell me what the problem is and how to fix it, I'd appreciate it.
Daniel

Make sure you're plugging the monitor cable onto the correct connector. If your system has intergrated/onboard video, and you have added a video card to an AGP/PCI slot.. it'll have two video ports.
If you do have an AGP or PCI card, remove it and clean the contacts with a pencil eraser or electrical contact cleaner, and reseat it firmly.
If cleaning it doesn't work I would bet it's safe to say, you're going to need a new video card or motherboard.
When you turned your computer on in the past it beeped, or made a sound upon start up. Does it still make that same noise, or has the amount of beeps/tones changed in any way?
