I am running a network with Win2k as the server and the client side pcs are all WinXp...
All users are authenticated using the Win2K server. When a user logs in on the client pc his profile is not a roaming profile, its local.
the problem i am facing is that every time a user logs in his previous profile is over written.
Thus all data stored on the desktop/My docs is erased.... Outlook settings and mailboxs are erased.
Is there any way to stop these profile from getting overwritten... and have XP authenticate from the main server but load the previous local profile
