Roxio 6 platinum only records on my memorex 4x - R discs at 2x ???
whats the deal ?

I am using the HSOK firmware, i tried the newest firmware but got a dead drive with infamous orange flashing lite, so i went back to HSOK and it works fine. but why is roxio burning at 2x on a 4x dvd -r ?

maybe because the firmware will only allow it to burn at that speed
