Ok, the detail list is finished. We have bought the parts.

This is what it will look like

AMD Athlon 64 2800 CPU
Viking 512MB PC3200 RAM
Western Digital 80GB 7200RPM 8MB Cache SATA Hard Drive
NEC 1.44MB Floppy Drive
Logitech Elite Keyboard

We already have the Video Card (nVidia TNT AGP), the DVD-ROM Drive (Lite-On 16x), the Mouse (Logitech Optical), the Monitor (Proview 17" CRT), and the Speakers (NEC Speakers).

Future upgrades will include: New Video Card (GeForce 6200/6600), New Mouse (Logitech Wireless Optical), New Monitor (NEC DiamondPoint V50LCD), and New Speakers (Altec Lansing 251).

Right now I am downloading Windows XP Professional Extended 64-Bit Beta for AMD Boy. It will be awesome running 64-Bit games!

mmm 64bit sounds pretty tasty, but i'm good with XPro right now. Neway my dads computer runs a lot faster (boots just as fast as mine with a twice as slow processor)

We just got the CPU and the Hard Drive in. The rest should come in tomorrow. I have to say, the CPU looks awesome. It is as small as a Pentium 4. The retail HSF has an aluminum heatsink and a 80mmx15mm fan. I love AMD!!!
