Post by Amano Jyuku »

I just got a case and all.... a mother board....Shuttle AN35N-Ultra Motherboard ... and well I had everything set, and I booted up, all was well... I checked bios I altered (only thing I can remember) was the start up logo thing, I turned it off... well I reboot... I get no system sound nor any visual on my screen.... I have not yet installed windows or anything... The only thing that I think I can do is flashthe bios and I dont know how to do that....!?!?!?

Look under your two IDE Connectors on the motherboard. There should be a battery there. To the lower right of that should be the Clear CMOS Jumper - JP1. The topmost pin is pin 1. The bottommost pin is pin 3. The middle pin is pin 2. The jumper should be in pins 1 and 2. Take the jumper out and place it in pins 2 and 3. This will clear the CMOS. Wait for about 10 seconds. Then take the jumper out and place it back in pins 1 and 2. This will set the CMOS back to Default.

You can find these instructions on pg. 27 of your manual. (I have the same motherboard.)

Sorry man I found out what was wrong like 5 minutes after I posted this... I found out the solution on the second page in the book lol!... I unplugged the power supply for 30 seconds and plugged it back in and held the insert button while pressing the power button.... and I waited for the system speaker to make a sound then I hurried up and pressed delete to enter the bios and wham it worked... and I swear to you I had an orgasm.
