I just can't see how they can build a dual core CPU when they just changed their plans to even think about it about a month ago. And with all the heat problems they are having with Prescotts, it makes it even more unlikely.
Also, X-bit Labs is very reliable.
And, being rich doesn't make you trustworthy.
AMD is 10X more reliable than Intel on launch dates.

Recent cases of "reliable" sources screwing up:
- CBS and the Bush military records
- The NOAA NHC and the Ivan predictions
- Microsoft claiming that IE was superior browser
- FoxNews anchor claimed today that New Orleans would get at minimum 10" of water today
- WinInfo reported Longhorn would ship in 2007
Moral of the story: Don't believe everything you see on Internet and TV

That is what I'm saying.
Smartweb, at least you have it.
Intel saying that they have dual cores on the Internet is totally unreliable.
And they would do it even more so by having a lot to lose to AMD.

Let me shed some light on how Intel is not doing this.
Intel quickly got their "custom" made computer off of the reach of the media. Nobody could see if it was really one CPU. Why would they do this? I smell coverup. Why? Because not only did AMD show their dual cores on an HP system, but they also showed the CPUs themselves. Why wouldn't Intel compete against this. Something is going on.
