Can't delete file

Post by Guest »

Hi,

I bought a new hard disk to work next to my old one. I was cleaning up the old one, but I cannot get rid of 2 little files anymore. It's like two dead pixels on your screen, not deadly, but anoying.
I tried:
- to change the file name: it says it cannot find the source
- to delete some keys in the registry with the same name
- to delete it in DOS with Explorer on hold, CD <folder>, and then Del <folder>. Buit it doesn't see any folder antymore.

The best description would be: it's a ghost file. Not existent, but still it's there.
Anyone has a solution?

If it bothers you so much, the easiest thing is to back your files up on your new hard drive and reformat the old one.
