HDD player

Post by AmaD »

Ok, so this is very ambitious, but is there anyway to link a normal, say a Western Digital Caviar 80Gb 7200rpm EIDE Hard Drive up to an MP3 which uses Flash memory? :D

Ok, so it's a very stupid idea as the MP3 player, first off, doesn't support the whole IDE thing, and there's not sufficient power for the bugger, and so on. BUT, would anyone be able to make-it-happen?

thanks if you know, and perhaps youd be willing to share your crazy idea

I doubt there is technology out there for what you are talking about.. You can make your HD into an MP3 player with the help of your CD-ROM drive though .... That would be a fun project
