I wonder what kind of heat that CPU was pumping?

wow.. that dosen't prove anything.. You need all of that just to get to about less than 4 ghz while you could use the same stuff and go upto 6ghz with a p4...

Let us look at a performance difference with IPC considered.
FX-51 (2.2GHz) = 98.4 Doom 3 Points
EE (3.4GHz) = 87.4 Doom 3 Points
FX 1GHz = 44.7 Doom 3 Points
EE 1GHz = 25.7 Doom 3 Points
Thus, FX 3.8GHz = 169.9 Doom 3 Points
And, EE 6.0GHz = 154.2 Doom 3 Points

Which one is better now?
