K8MM MSI motherboard question.

My system has been locking up while running multiple programs. Couldn't that be caused by using the wrong type of memory with the motherboard? Does anybody know what memory a K8MM motherboard uses? I know it's DDR, but I'm not sure about all the 2700 and all that.

You can use any speed ddr on a ddr motherboard, google for "memtest86" and run that, this will tell you if your ram is faulty
