Which dvd burner should i buy?

I've been thinking of buying a Plextor DVD-RW/DVD+RW PX-712A/T3
what do u think?

Do you want to be able to copy games, music, or both?

Well, Plextors are good at copying music, and Liteons are good at copying games

There were a few problems a year or so ago with old liteon dvd burners, but I think they worked out all the kinks

Games are harder to copy that music most of the time

Plextors cost more than Liteons

You can't go wrong with either one

I have purchased nothing but Liteons and I think they make a quality product

hmm, i have never trusted liteon products, what about nec?

NEC is ok for general dvd burning, but not too good for copy protection

I have no actual experience with NEC optical devices

I would get an NEC monitor though

i have a nec dvd-rom, it reads some dvd-s badly now, maybe i have to clean it and i also have a nec monitor, it's quite ok.
I think i'm not going to copy much, i think i'm going to burn dvd-s which i have in my computer.

If you don't want to get a Liteon, then I would get the Plextor over the NEC
