overcloking problem HELP!

overcloking problem HELP!

okay... i have an northwood p4 2.4b i can overclock it to 2.69 and it'll be stable. anything after that is also still good accept my sound and dvd drive are not working... i can't hear anything and my dvd drive wont run any cd's. does anyone know what causes this?

when you overclock using the front speed bus instead of increasing the multiplier, you are also overclcoking the ide channel and audio devices

the frontbus speed increases when you oc auto n'est-ce pas?
