How do you make folders "jump" to place?

Post by RMskater »

Running Windows XP with Service Pack 2.

I was wondering this. On one of my computers, when you are in a folder where there are alot of folders, if you delete a folder, the other folders jump one space back, filling the place of the deleted folder, so there is no gap/space.

On my other computers, they don't. What settings do I change to get my folders to jump to place and eliminate any gaps from folders or files that I delete?
