2 HD problem

2 HD problem

Hi,
I want to use 2 HD in my system. I used the jumpers to make one as master nad other as slave..My drive0 (master) has the operating system (windows 2000)..Its booting perfectly if the other HD is either not connected or replaced by the CDROM..If I m connecting both the HDs on the same Cable its giving following error message
Cannot Find \Windows\System32\hal.dll
Plz help me out..

Make sure you have the Master HDD connected to the plug closest to the motherboard.. Or try putting in on the second IDE channel.

go into the bios and see if you set your jumpers correctly
