My ready light keeps blinking on my dsl modem

I have a Westell Wirespeed dsl modem. My telephone service was disconnected for a few days. Modem worked fine. Then I got my phone service reconnected and the link light is lit steadily, but the ready light keeps blinking. My providers is having a hard time trying to figure out why. I went to Westell's website's FAQ and it said that having my phone service interupted could cause a problem. Then it asked if I had a dial tone, but gave me nowhere to answer. My phone line works just like it always has except I can't use my DSL. Can anybody help me?

have you tried resetting the modem, there is a reset button in the back usually that you have to press with a pen usually

No I didn't find a reset. However, my provider finally figured it out. Because my telephone service had been completely disconnecte, their system didn't recognize me anymore. So They have to delet all of my information then put it back in. So no DSL until 2/7! Whaa! Thank you so much for giving me that tip. I will keep it in mind for any future problems I may have with this modem. Have a good one!
