help with old old comp plz

hi, i asked my nan for her old computer to play around with and it is so old it has windows 3.1 on it. i want to put windows 95 on it but the cd rom in it doesnt work. i have another cd rom to put in it (came out of another computer) but i cant install the device driver i got off the cd rom's website because i get this error... The procedure entry point "VirtualFreeEx" could not be located in the Dynamic Link Library "w32scomb.dll". so if any one could help me i would be very thankfull.

Sounds to me like somewhere along the line "w32scomb.dll has been deleted. I had a quick search and found a download for it here = http://www.ezgoal.com/house/final.asp?id=188961 Give it a try, post back if it works!!!

hey thanks very much for your reply. sorry it took so long to reply but nah it diddnt work. i decided to put it back together and stick in the cupboard for a while untill i fell like having another go at it. so thanks again
