16 bit windows subsystem

when i insert a cd that i got with a magazine.....i get a popup error.....16 bit Windows Subsystem..................C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT.....The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.................But i'm using Win XP.....any idea how to fix ?

i have the same problem, when i try to install or uninstall anything... ARRGHH im going crazy!!! :cry:
My computer : It makes me angry but I love it! :S

You got this message because you had installed Service Pack 2.... To solve this problem, do the following: copy (Autoexec.nt) from folder (repair) in Windows to folder (System 32) in Windows. This should fix your problem
