Computer randomly restarts when playing World of Warcraft
Ok, here's the situation, only happens when I play World of Warcraft. I'll be playing and my computer will do 1 of 2 things:
1) Lock up with the graphics going fuzzy and a sustained high pitch frequency coming from the speakers (I'm sure its the speakers)
2) I hear the hard drive turn off and the computer restarts itself.
I know what you're gonna say, disable auto restart. Well I did, and no error messages, blue screens of death, just restarts.
These are things that I have tried to fix it:
1) Taken the case off of my tower and put a window fan right next to it and turned it on high. No good.
2) Ran windows memory diagnostics program. Everything's clean.
3) Removed the sound card from the motherboard and deactivated it in Device Manager. Nope.
4) Upgraded every single driver you can think of.
5) Ran dxdiag and yes I am running a current version of directx and I pass all the tests.
I'm running:
1.8GZ P4 (not overclocking)
ATI Radeon All-in-woner 9600
Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS
384mb sdram
NetGear GA11 PCI ethernet adapter
Windows XP pro SP2
Sony 19" plasma
Sorry I don't have any other high graphix games like HL2 or EQ2. I can tell you that I've ran Halo, city of heros, and EQ on this same computer.
Blizzard's tech guys tell me, upgrade your drivers, and short of that, they got nothing.
So, any ideas?

I've been PLaying WoW since the first stress-test. I too have encountered problems with my computer rebooting at random, on it's own.
My solution turned out to be an archived video driver. When I would get the WinXP error message on the screen it would always says that my nVidia driver was at fault. So, I downloaded an older video driver and it solved the problem, completely.
