Am in charge of a small network. Recently some guys are changing IP addresses and end up in IP conflicts. The IP is static. What can do to resolve this mess. Is there a software that can tell me which computer or user is using which IP address?
Thanks for the reply but net view would only show the computers online but not the IP addresses attached to the respective computers.

you could go into command prompt and do a net view, or you can setup a dhcp server and use dynamic ip addresses, there seems to be less conflicts running it dynamically
If you need to have a server behind a network, I would recomend you give this a static ip address
