The best way to get your PR (PageRank) up on your site is to submit your site to many directories like:

http://www.dmoz.org/
http://www.yahoo.com/
http://www.gimpsy.com/
http://www.zeal.com/
http://www.joeant.com/
http://www.goguides.org/

There are also many other directories that you can find out there other than these.

trying to get your site listed at dmoz is like jumping of a 100ft cliff and surviving, they have a 2 year waiting list..... to be perfectly honest there is no easy way to get listed....you just need to get the word to travel.....my site has been fully indexed by google it took 5 months but that is better than waiting for dmoz to do it... Sadly there is no quick way to get your site out there unless you work or even own google.....

Ive done that. but i think it's abit anoying that some of the dectories need member ship or payment
