computer won't turn on
Well I woke up to find my computer with a black monitor but still running one day. When I tried to bring it out of what I thought was sleep mode, it wouldn't budge(nothing was working no cd drive, harddrive wasn't spinning), so I turned it off and it hasn't turned back on since.
Computer is about 6 months old specs are:
Asus K8V SE Deluxe Motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 bit 2800+ (1.8 ghz)
1 gig ram
a 120 gig masterHD and a 20 gig slaveHD
a cd dvd player and a cdrw
Geforce 2 400 MX
a brand new 400 watt power supply
I've tried replacing the power supply, but that doesn't seem to be the problem because the motherboard has a green led that comes on when power is supplied to the board. I've tried disconnecting everything and seeing if the motherboard would boot up in bios to no avail, i've replaced the battery on the motherboard that keeps the clock going, i've tried different power outlets and power cords throughout the house, and i've tried different switches and shorting the two pins to turn it on.
Is there anything else I should try? Is the motherboard blown? Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Uh oh.........
Initial reaction to your problem is a fried motherboard. You dont even have to touch it to do this (as you probably know). A loose screw or cantact with your case amy have done this. Sorry but it sounds like your going to need a new motherbaord.
