If you don't have access to internal devices (floppy /cd) see if you can use a external backpack, or find someone who can install your drive in a different computer . The other option is to delete the files, but if your new I would seek out someone who has IT knowledge. You didn't say what your trying to do, or why, is the computer giving you problems?
If I could remember all I have forgotten, I would be a smart man.

A fresh install of Windows can't be done without erasing your files (unless you start creating wierd partitions and modding the bootloader; can be messy (experience)). However, you could backup the files that you want to keep by sending them to yourself using YouSendIt.
