Hello, I recently had to install a fresh copy of Windows XP over and old version I could not repair. All my files are still intact, but I would like to know if it is possible to view the registry from the old windows version, as the folder is still on the HD.
If you backed up you're files using the backup utility/adavanced option/ system state, th a known folder you will have a copy. If not I think you may have a problem recovering the files.
If I could remember all I have forgotten, I would be a smart man.
Anyone know of any other way???
