I currently have a Lite-on LDW 411s and updated to the latest firm which is FS0k, i can play and write dvds but but i cannot get it to recognize CDs, i also tired different cds and still no go, i really need help solving this issue.
Running WinXP sp2

It sounds like you have a bug in the firmwear update that was uploaded. In checking the In Lite site they say once you update you can't go back. I would fire off a letter to support and see what they say.
