Annoying Media player

I have a 'play/pause' button on my keyboard and everytime I press it, windows media player opens. For most people this would be useful, but I use winamp. Every time I press 'play/pause' to play or pause the current track in winamp, media player pops up! It's starting to really get on my nerves! Is there a way to either disable it so it doesn't open the program if it's not open or change it so it will open winamp instead?

I'm sure there is a software for your keyboard to change its settings, under the start menu programs see if there is an icon that leads u to keyboard settings, it would be under software that came with ur computer.

Well the thing is, when u run the software it comes up with "...has encountered a problem and has to close..." but I've tried to get a new driver for it but it's really hard to find. I did find it eventually, but the newest ones are the same version as what came with it so it still does the same thing. Is there annother way to do it?
