A VERY VERY URGENT STARTUP PROBLEM

Post by haylie_is_FOX »

ok, if just ONE of you could PLEASE, PLEASEEEEE help me... last night, i was watching anchorman on my computer (laptop). i fell asleep, and when i woke up, i realized that my computer had tumbled about two-three feet from my bed. i thot, well that sucks, at first....but then.... i get on, and almost EVERY problem--even on the START menu---was COMPLETELY and TOTALLY unrecognized! internet explorer and my documents and the recycle bin were all fine...but everything else was just unrecognizable! so i restarted my computer a couple of times, tried to see if going randomly into "safe mode" would work, and then i tried to go into fricken system restore in "regular" mode and it SAID THAT IT LIKE DIDNT HAVE THE RESOURCES OR SUMTHING and told me to go make an "agreement" or one of the "a" words that means sumthing like that.....i know its not agreement though... anyways, i wud REALLY appreciate some help!!!! thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like your hard drive's data got corrupted during your computer's little fall. If you're lucky, Windows's cd's repair function might help. If you're not lucky, you'll have to replace the hard drive or maybe even the computer.

I can almost guarantee you now that your hard drive is destroyed. also, when you take it in for repairs tell them to check to make sure the ram and processor and totally in place.
