Cannot get to admin account.

On Windows XP pro I accidentaly switched my admin account to a limited account. Now I cannot switch it back. I know that you have to do it from another admin account but I cannot get to any. When Xp load it goes to the welcome screen with the list of names, but the admin is not listed. Is there another way to get to that account.

Delete Admin Password Boot up with DOS and delete the sam.exe and sam.log files from Winnt\system32\config in your hard drive. Now when you boot up in NT the password on your built-in administrator account will be blank (No password). This solution works only if your hard drive is FAT. All you have to do is start the computer in safe mode then go to the real administrator account. Though there go to the contron panel then fix the settings for the other account.
