My PC Crashes

my pc crashes when i play games. my pc specs are below:

INTEL D865PERL MOBO
INTEL 3.0E GHZ
1 GIG PC400 DDR
INNO3D GEFORCE4 TI 4200 128 MB
300 WATTS PSU

when i play games like nba live 2005 or generals, my monitor suddenly shuts off(black screen) then my cpu restarts.
but when i don't play games and just do taskings, even if i leave it on for 24 hours, it works fine.
can somebody help me with my problem tanx very much in advance.

either the cpu or graphics card is overheating or the psu is using too much power

one more problem with my cpu if u can help me please. whenever i turn on the avr my computer seems to turn on for 1 second then turns off again, what could be the cause of that. i can't described it clearly hope u understand me.

Just wondering have you ever cleaned your histories out of the computer. what system are you using? IE ,Netscape,ETC. what windows also xp. 95 etc.

I agree with CC, ya need more than 300watts.

You definately need more than 300 watts, and it also sounds like someone was messing with your CPU core voltage settings, you can find out about that on google.
