hi i need some help with a gameboy project i have been working on. i have been tring to fit a gameboy color into one of those ti calculators. the gameboy runs on 2 AA bateries and looks like this. (Metal Thing)+_______-(Spring) (Spring)-_______+(Metal Thing) the "spring and metal thing" on the right dont touch anything but bateries. i was wondering if i could run wires from the "spring and metal thing" on the left to the bateries and have a seperate peice of metal touch the right side. would that work?? also the AA's are 1.5v would the gameboy work if i used 1.5v AAA???? please send answers to [email protected]

yes, you can conduct electricity through metal AAAs will work, but AAs will last longer
