To Begin Click Username - But No Usernames. Please Help

Hi, I have a problem, I cannnot seem to boot to my windows desktop. Its my laptop and as soon as I switch it on it goes to a screen where it tells me to click a usename to begin but there is one problem. There are no username's listed and I did not set anything up to get a screen like that. I assume that my parents might have unknowingly done something to trigger it and from here I don't know what to do. I would be very grateful for somebody's help. Regards. London_Mo

A password box opens and by default "user" is already there in the username box. but I don't know how to get in as I did not set up anything for which I need a password for. I presssed the escape button as soon as I switched the computer on and went into set up mode and in there I set a passowrds for the administrator and the user. So when that passoword box open I used that password, I thought lets try but I can't get in. I guess my only option is to perform a system restore I don't have anything important on it as I have a pc and back my work from there. But thanks alot for your reply. Mo.
