some buttons on internet sites won't work?

I don't know what's causing this problem. Sites I used to be able to click on these same buttons are just not working. They used to but haven't for awhile. Some sites will work and others won't. You know, the buttons you click after you put your login name/password, or even just various buttons on the webpage to access other areas. I don't understand why some work and others don't and don't have a CLUE what will fix this! Is it caused by a virus or something? I've done various scans and such and still this same problem. Anyone? thanx

What browser are you using? Scan with ad-aware and spybot
