Quite possibly the best ip blocker ever made. BLM will update the block list on tons of other programs too, including Kazaa and eDonkey. Check it out at http://www.bluetack.co.uk/index.php

does it work using htaccess or does it run it's own program?

both protowall and blm run their own programs, and protowall runs in the background using about 1.5 megs of ram.
