rundll32 problem

Post by guy476 »

Hi I'm new here and I have this problem with my comp. For some reason rundll32 will show up on my taskmanager out of nowhere and not only that but it shows up in there twice. I know its not there when i start the comp because i check the running procceses. I know its a system file for windows but it never used to show up in the running procceses window, and i dont know why it is now. When i try to close it, it just comes back. I have no clue whats wrong. Ive already ran spyware checkers (ad-aware, spybot, and microsofts anti spyware thing) as well as antivirus programs(norton antivirus, panda online virus checker, and trend micro). Also ive tried registry cleaners ( registry mechanic, and tuneup utilities 2004) none of these things seem to fix it and i have no clue whats going on. thanks

Yes I agree, run32dll.exe runs within the windows O/S
If I could remember all I have forgotten, I would be a smart man.
