Hp recovery error, windows cant boot
While I was doing a recovery on my hp pavillion there was an error and the restore process failed. When I turned my computer back on I recieved a message saying vmm32 was not found and windows could not load? Is my harddrive empty now , or am I missing something. Is it possible to boot from the cd-rom drive to install it again, or could I possibly use my other pc to restore it?
any help appreciated.

You're hard drive isn't empty, the files are still there, if you still have problems getting windows to run you can slave the hard drive, save the files you want to keep and do a reinstall of windows
If I could remember all I have forgotten, I would be a smart man.
