Oh dear

Post by AmaD »

Today I made the fatal mistake of uninstalling a game which treats your program files as it's own folder. I tried to uninstall Warhammer 40,000 Firewarrior which had it's files sprad across my program files because it must have installed incorrectly. I then uninstalled it and it proceeded to delete EVERY file in my program files. Luckily it's my F:/, and my C:/ is untouched. After realising what happened I did a system restore to the previous day. Now my files are there, but half of them, in fact pretty much all of the games in my program files are dead and don't want to load.

Does anyone know a way around this, without having to re-install of the games? It would be a great help, thanks :)

I'd also like to say that pretty much all of the games won't uninstall because they are missing a file or two, so if I manuallly delete the files will I have to update / delete some registry files aswell?
