Athlon 64 FX-55s hit NewEgg!

Post by Aggressor Prime »

OEM
Retail

OEM = $869.00 + $3.99 S/H
Retail = $911.00 + $3.99 S/H

Warning: The Athlon 64 FX-55 and the Athlon 64 4000 CPUs use 104W of energy (+15 from original K8s). The Retail package of the FX-55 is not suggested. In tests with Thermaltake's Silent Boost, the FX-55 gave temps of 83C. I would suggest that you buy the OEM package of the FX-55 with this cooler for acceptable temps.

Total price = $918.99 + $8.98 S/H

The few dollars over the retail package will be worth it.
Athlon XP 3200 3DMark05 Score: 3460 GeForce 6600 GT 3DMark05 Score: 3132 14304 SETI Results: Athlon 64 2800 Athlon XP 3200 Athlon XP 2100 Athlon XP 1800 Pentium 3 Celeron 667MHz If you haven't played Descent 3, you aren't a gamer.

Agressor, no one in these forums really care about 800$ cpu's, if they did they shouldn't be here unless they happen to be major gamers and happen to stumble across this bios(or other problem that i would have trouble with) problem that is f'ing them in the a.
Money can buy what you don't have.
