Teamspeak is great, there are many codecs to chose from... (if i remember correctly, we use GSM 16 bit on our gaming server and it's clear as a bell (that is of course if they are running push to talk and they talk clearly (hate when you can hear a person breathejohn_us350 wrote:i heared teamspeak 's voice not good also..?...Tebow2000 wrote:Teamspeak

what is the voice port in Dingotel config...?..any idea abt that...?.is it brings any adware in pc...?..
I have a related question on setting up our own TeamSpeak server. How do you set which codec is to be used by the server? According to the manual it's the server that determines the codec to be used, not the client, but I can't find where to tell the server which codec to use. I have found a place to restrict it from using some codecs, but is that how it's set? Do I need to restrict all codecs except the one I want to use or does the client have something to do with it? In other words if I don't restrict which codecs to use, do the client's use the best one possible if they are not limiting their bandwidth?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Pappy
