Hard Drive Transfer To new motherboard and CPU

Post by DarkIsamu »

Hey guys here's my problem in a nut shell..... My AGP slot went out on me so I decided this the perfect time to upgrade, well I just purchased a GIGABYTE GA-K8NSNXP-939 and a 64 3500+ ATHLON 64 939. Here's my question, I have a 160gig hard drive and I was wondering when I put my new system together will I have to format My hard drive or will all the information still be there and just boot-up? I have lots of important files on there. Thanks for the help.
