HELP! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!

ok. SO i started up windows today and the only thing that is on my desktop is the recycling bin. all of my settings are gone, and all of my documents are not showing up. i know they are there, but when in go to my documents, insted of goin to my documents it goes to a temp docuemnts. what can i do to restore this and fix my problems. HELP!

are you sure that you loaded up on your usual username?
