I have an Athlon AMD XP 2600+ running at 1.9 GHz on an Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe board. The 333 MHz FSB speed is killing me at times.
What I want to know is, I know I will have to buy a new motherbaord eventually, but will my chip be able to take advantage of the new bus speed?
I would think so, but one of my buddies said it wouldn't help any, and both of us are pretty knowledgable about computers.

it all depends on your motherboard capabilities.. If they are not suffecent enough, I am sure someone here can recommend a nice cpu for you

the mother board says it can go to 400MHz FSB...but it overheated when I tried...
(not that that's much better than 333MHz anyway)
