I have used windows almost all my life except apple II's in 5th grade and Mac OS9 and OSX in graphics. Other than that...It's always been windows. I wanna try something new so I'm checking out Ubuntu Linux. Here's my questions:
My comp came with an internal 40GB hard drive. That one has Windows XP SP2 on it. I recently bought another internal hard drive 120GB (Western Digital) and here is what I want to do: After I install the other hard drive, I want both of them in my PC but somehow, which I don't know how to do it, I want to move all of my things from my 40GB, OS, Files, everything to my 120GB. Then I want to instal Ubuntu Linux to the 40GB for a Dual-Boot System. How would I move all my files without deleting any for good?
The reason I want the 120GB for windows is that I will probably use it the most and all my files and stuff I have is for Windows. I'm probably not going to be getting as much stuff for Linux as I do for Windows. Please help me out!
Sorry it wasn't really that short and there might be errors as I tyed it kinda quick!
Thanx everyone at ComputerBB!
