firefox about config

firefox about config

Hi i added a value in the about:config page but i added the wrong one is there a way to delete it i tried highlighting it and pressing delete but that didnt work does anybody know please.

I don't know how to delete a value, however, I don't think it could have any negative side effects just staying there

Actually, I just found a possible way to fix it

1: Don't worry about it.
2: Right-click it and select 'reset' (If such a pref is ever added, it'll have the "right" value.)
3: If you still want to get rid of it, shutdown the browser, go to the profile directory (homedir/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/default.XXX/
4: Edit prefs.js and remove the offending preference.
