Need help i got spyware.......

Hi i am in need of some serious help, i have picked up some spyware and the results are that my comp is running slower than usual and i have this stupid message that covers the whole of my desktop when i log into my computer, can any 1 recommend any good safe spyware removers thanks...

spybot search and destroy ad-aware both are free, both should be downloaded, updated, and run

i use both ad aware amd avg but both do not get rid of this message that covers my desktop.. thanks for the replies

microsoft's antspyware (beta) is also good, picked up on a load of stuff that spybot didn't......
