Why?

Post by pathachio »

How come there isn't a forum for RAM, there's one for everything else. OK, so there won't be as much to talk about but still.... While im on the subject, if i want to get some more DRAM for my PC, does it need to be the same spec as my current DRAM - i think sumone told me that?? - and if so, how close, i mean are there certain things that must be the same or does it just need to be the same size.... or is it just a load of bull....

we don't have a specific forum for ram because we allow people to use the general hardware section for it ;) as far as dram goes, pc133 is backwards compatible to pc100 and ddr is backwards compatible usually double sided aka single density modules work best you dont need them to be the same capacity, mix and match :)
