Graphs Card Help

Hello all, I recently bought a Radeon 9600 256MB to replac my 9200 128MB and i am having problems, My computer has become very slow, and it takes a long time to open the simplist of things, and, and this worries me, my CPU which is AMD Athalon XP runs at 100% all the time, it dosnt go down

My specs are: HP Pavillion Windows XP Home SP2 1024MB DDR AMD Athalon XP 80GB Harddisk I hope this info helps, Thanks in advance!!!

Ok two things here to look at , one when you go to task manager what process are using the CPU usage? You may be able to track down what application is the problem. Two if you put back in you're old card does anything change? Let us know.

Sorry i think i was just being paranoid, it was when i start up the computer it goes to and stays at 100% for quite some time, i think that is normal though, as for it being slow that has stopped, i am getting very good performance now, I fun Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 so i need a Graphics card like this, all seems to be working now, but thanka for your help!!!!!
