Moniter Not Working

Ok, let me start from the beginning. Well, the power when out for about 5 mins yesterday and my computer was turned on. When the power came back on my new LCD was not working. So I unplugged everything from the back of my tower (to make sure there was no stray power left in there). After I unplugged it, I plugged the LCD into one of my other computers that was already turned off during the power failure. And the LCD worked fine on it. So I put the LCD back to the original computer and it works fine. But here is the problem now. The CRT on my old computer does not work. It had been working fine until i switched out moniters to test my LCD. It works until right before the logon screen should come and than the CRT turns itself off. Tryied my new LCD on the old computer and it does the same thing. Tried the old CRT and my new Tower and it works fine. Please Help me get my old moniter working on my old computer. (Its What My Son Uses)
