Yellow cup slides in and out

Problem with my sisters computer. The computer was having problems, so I decided to reinstall XP. Before I reinstalled, I noticed a white box with a yellow cup inside kept sliding into the middle from the right of the screen and sliding back out. This was happening even when reinstalling xp. I thought it could have been a bios problem (pheonix), have looked but cannot find any problems. Apart from sliding in and out its not causing any problems, but its driving me nuts. Any suggestions?
